Area qualifies 35 to Zone 5 Pepsi 11-Under state meet (The Herald News)
On Jan. 12 & 13, the Zone 5 Pepsi 11-Under Qualifying started the new year with a bang, with 35 area youth bowlers advancing to state competition. The event was held at Town & Country Lanes. The 11-under bowlers were split into two divisions, boys and girls handicap. Twenty-one boys and 14 girls advanced to the state finals. Scholarships also were awarded.
